Lauren's Story

I had everything.
Then I had a car.

I had a goal — marriage, family, businesses, houses — all by 30. I achieved it by 27.

By 32, I left with three kids and just the clothes on our backs. 14 years in an abusive relationship — and I didn't realise it until the end.

7+ years out. 3.5 years in family court. And even now — I am in criminal court.

Through all of it — I showed up to work. Performing. Delivering. Holding it together.

Someone in your team is doing exactly that right now.

It comes to work every single day."

What You Might Miss

You won't see bruises.
You'll see this.

Three signs — out of many — that someone on your team might be surviving DV right now.

A high performer who has quietly stopped performing — missing deadlines, making errors, seeming distracted

Someone who checks their phone constantly with visible anxiety, or steps outside for every call

A person who asks HR to not share their location or schedule — urgently, and without full explanation
